ImRep Privacy Policy
A product by Maservitech. Effective 1 November 2026.
ImRep is a field-force app for pharmaceutical companies. A company (our client) subscribes to ImRep and gives its medical representatives, managers and administrators accounts. This policy explains what ImRep collects, why, and your rights.
Who is responsible for your information
Your employer, the client company that gave you an ImRep account, decides what information is kept about its field work and why. It is the personal information controller. Maservitech operates ImRep on the client's behalf as a personal information processor, under its agreement with the client and the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
For requests about your information, contact your company's ImRep administrator first. You can also contact us at support@maservitech.com.
What ImRep collects
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Your name, work email, role and assigned territory | To create your account, sign you in and show you the work assigned to you |
| Records of calls (visits): date, time, the doctor or outlet visited, products discussed, notes, samples, photos you attach and signatures you capture | The core purpose of the app: recording and reporting field work for your company |
| Precise location while location monitoring is on | To confirm where calls were made and, if your company enables it, to show your managers your route during working hours. A notification is shown on your phone whenever it is being recorded. |
| Business contact details of doctors, pharmacies and other outlets | Your company's customer list, which you visit and update |
| Device type, app version and a notification token | To keep your session secure, sync your data and send you notices about your assignments |
ImRep does not sell personal information, does not show advertising, and does not use your information for any purpose other than providing the service to your company.
Location
Location is collected only while you are signed in and monitoring is active, within the working hours your company sets. Android shows a persistent notification the whole time. ImRep does not ask for location access "all the time". Your company decides whether route monitoring is used; location attached to a call is recorded with that call. Location trails are deleted after a period your company sets, by default 365 days.
Who can see your information
- Your company's administrators, and managers for the territories they oversee.
- Maservitech staff, only as needed to run, support and secure the service.
- Service providers we use to run ImRep: cloud hosting and backup storage, email delivery (Zoho Mail) and push notifications (Google Firebase Cloud Messaging). They process information only on our instructions.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Security and storage
Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), stored on servers we manage, and backed up nightly to separate encrypted storage. Each client company's data is kept in its own databases. Data on your phone is kept so the app works offline and is removed when you sign out.
How long information is kept
For as long as your company subscribes to ImRep, or as its agreement with us requires. When a subscription ends, the client's data is returned or deleted as agreed with the client.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, to object, to erasure or blocking, to data portability, and to complain to the National Privacy Commission. Because your employer controls your information, send requests to your company's administrator; we will help them respond. You may also write to support@maservitech.com.
Children
ImRep is a business app for employees and is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change, and change the effective date above.
